Sealing is the most important step in my natural hair regimen. Most women give up on the method, struggling to find an oil or butter that isn’t too heavy or too thin for your specific needs. Pure Aloe Vera, however, is the perfect pH balanced and lightweight sealing solution for all hair types.

3 Easy Ways to Use Aloe Vera
Moisturizer
Mix it with a little bit of your favorite oil and apply directly to your hair. You can also use it as a hair refresher by mixing it with a some water and your favorite oils. Spray onto your hair as a quick pick-me-up.
Conditioner
Option 1: Instead of your regular conditioner use 1/4 cup aloe gel and combine with olive oil. Mix in a few drops of your favorite essential oil(s) for fragrance. Apply after shampooing, leaving it on for three to five minutes then rise. Option 2: Same combination sans oil mixed with your favorite detangling conditioner.
Overnight Treatment
For maximum hydration, leave aloe vera juice in your hair overnight. You can mix it with olive or avocado oil for extra conditioning. Wet your hair with the mixture, put your hair in a shower cap, and drift off to sleep. In the morning rinse well if you used pure juice. Shampoo and condition your hair if you added oils.
